Tom's Goat Cheese Prosciutto Wrapped Figs

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. Arrange fig halves on a foil or parchment lined baking sheet. Top each half with a teaspoon or so of goat cheese. Press into fig. Drizzle lightly with balsamic vinegar with about 1/2 teaspoon per fig.
  3. Cut prosciutto lengthwise into 1-inch wide strips. Carefully wrap each fig in one strip.
  4. Bake for 7-10 minutes or until heated through or bake them longer if you like crisper prosciutto. We have also done this on a grill to get a little smoky flavor as well, very nice.
